I second your wishes.
I love luminarias. I think they are so beautiful. The glow from them is always so warm and inviting.
Alas, we have too few luminarias here, which a number of years ago were a fad. Too bad. You expressed a great sentiment. What's going to happen to the millions of AID's orphans in Africa??
