Flowers for Hump Day.

I love the orange color of this ground covr. It does well in our early spring but once it hits the high hundreds you won't see much of these flowers.

Those remind me of dwarf marigolds. We used to grow them but insects never touched them so they are out. We only grow things nowadays that are beneficial to something in Nature and try not to benefit the pocketbooks of horticulturists with too much time on their hands. I wish they would come up with a Zinnia that is resistant to fungus, mold and wilt.

It gets very hot in summer but at least it is dry! I love going to the west every summer, the climate is really nice and the nature there is so grandiose.

Randy, Flowers, flowers, flowers--they're appealing all over the blogs, and isn't it wonderful. I think it says something about the human spirit; we need renewal as we view the emerging blossoms.
