A view of Central and Downtown Phoenix from the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. The preserve is home to a popular hiking trail. Once you reach the top your reward is a great view of the valley. The trail winds up a mountain that was previously called Squaw Peak, the name was changed to Peistewa Peak in honor of Lori Peistewa the first woman killed in the Iraq war.

I think that renaming that place for Lori was an honorable thing to do as a memorial for her children. It sounds like a beautiful place.
